Our loved ones have known for years. But we had never spoken about it publicly. Out of modesty. Out of a desire to protect our privacy.

Our story is above all that of two survivors of sexual violence, including incest, who met, recognized each other, and found one another. Beyond our connection, we speak the same language, that of former victims with chaotic intimate journeys.

Together, we made our relationship a space for rebuilding. Supported and trained by therapists, we transformed our traumas into expertise.

From this journey, ELDA was born.

ELDA is a support program for couples who want to heal after sexual violence, created by a couple who has been through it.

The funds will cover the creation of a secure platform, educational content, our professional certification, legal framework, and the time needed to build ELDA.

Because nothing like it exists. Individual therapists support individuals. Couples therapists work on the relationship. But no one supports couples through the specific journey of rebuilding after sexual violence (whether one or both partners are survivors).

We created the program we wish we had found.

For couples where one or both partners are survivors of sexual violence (incest, rape, assault, past domestic violence…) and who want to rebuild their relationship, their intimacy, and their communication.

By D’ de Kabal and myself, both incest survivors, trained by Sokhna Fall, a family therapist, victimologist, anthropologist, and vice-president of the association Mémoire Traumatique et Victimologie.
