HIP OPSESSION invites Éloïse Bouton and several speakers to discuss female hip hop activism and how this scene is doing in 2018. While rap and feminism are often deemed irreconcilable, should hip hop be understood as an extension of our patriarchal and sexist societies, or as a vector of emancipation, a vehicle for empowerment? These discussions will be followed by a showcase from Clermont-based femcee Illustre and an open mic.
